Spring Forward with Pilates, Move better After 40 Workshop

Saturday, 28th March, 1 – 3pm

Join us for a two-hour Pilates workshop for anyone who sits too much, feels stiff or achy, and wants to move more without exhausting workouts or the gym.
This workshop is about giving your body the attention it deserves, focusing on movement that leaves you feeling capable, comfortable, and confident – guided in a small, supportive group.

“The HOH team are really friendly. Class sizes are small and the teachers remember your name and your ailments, so they don’t ask you to do anything beyond your capabilities. All the teachers have a good sense of humour and are very down-to-earth.”

Lyn C, S6

  • You prefer small groups, clear teaching, and a supportive atmosphere

We welcome guests with a ginger shot on arrival, followed by a short, practical goal-setting moment focused on simple movement and health commitments that fit real life.
The session then moves into a Pilates class led in a small group, with clear teaching, individual attention, and a focus on easing everyday aches, improving mobility, and building strength safely.
After class, fresh juice is served, followed by targeted stretching to support recovery and reduce common aches and stiffness.
The workshop reflects how we work at HOH – calm, well-taught sessions in small groups, with people who value consistency and taking care of their bodies.

“I booked Happy Hips workshop because every morning I wake up with a dull ache in my right hip.  I enjoyed learning that the smallest of gentle movements can improve my hip mobility.  I woke up Sunday morning and had no hip ache on my right side which was fab.”

Jo, 58, HOH member, S6
